South Asian Studies

Home to nearly 60% of the world's population, five major world religions, and hundreds of languages, Asia, the largest continent, is of uniquely strategic importance in contemporary global politics and economics. South Asian Studies at Emory introduces students and the community to leading scholarship on through courses, lectures, films, and exhibitions. We offer an undergraduate major and minor as well as graduate courses across several departments on campus.
